Hi, I divided my decks between two profiles as User 1 and User 2 and have a different schedules to review them. I have no problem with these two Users in computer version of Anki but there is not an option such as Switch Profiles, like computer version, to have two devisions for decks!! Who can I divide decks to have a different schedules for review them? Thanks.

Hi Tim, I read the address: https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/wiki/FAQ#how-to-use-different-anki-profiles and it said that I should go to https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases/tag/v2.5beta16 and download "AnkiDroid-2.5beta16.parallel.A.apk", "AnkiDroid-2.5beta16.parallel.B.apk" and "AnkiDroid-2.5beta16.parallel.C.apk". So I did it, but it did not work for me! When I install these three ankidroid in my cellphone, they open without error but when I want to import a deck to them, they mention this error "Ankidroid has encountered a problem; a report is being generated ..."

What is the problem? What should do I? Thanks a lot.

You need to change the collection path in each version to use a unique AnkiDroid folder.

Thank you. I un-installed them all and deleted the previous AnkiDroid folder. Then installed the three paralleled versions again. The cellphone did not ask me to opt a folder and it created an another AnkiDroid folder itself and installed three versions. I did not if cellphone installed three in that one AnkiDroid folder or not, but I think it did so.

So, how can I opt an unique AnkiDroid folder for each paralleled versions while the cellphone did not ask me to opt it? :(

Thanks for your help and sorry to bother you.

You need to change it in the preferences. Since this is a highly advanced feature we cannot provide any further support on it, sorry.

Thank you so much. I did it. I add 3 folders to SD card: AnkidroidA, AnkidroidB and AnkidroidC. Then installed the three versions again and try to import decks to them, but they show this error again: "Ankidroid has encountered a problem; a report is being generated ..."

:(

What should do I now? Thanks a lot.

You need to tell each separate version of Anki to point to a unique folder that you've set up. Go to Settings -> Advanced -> AnkiDroid Directory to change it to a new path. Now install another version, version B, and follow the same steps to ensure it's pointed to a unique folder under Settings -> Advanced. Also, SD cards are not always very reliable with AnkiDroid, so it may be in your best interest to create these folders within the internal storage of the phone itself.

Thank you, I have done those in the internal storage of cellphone and I have no SD card. In past comment I made a mistake that I have use SD card. Sorry for that.

1) Again, I connected cellphone to computer and created these three folders on internal storage of cellphone: AnkidroidA, AnkidroidB and AnkidroidC.
2) I disconnected cellphone of computer and installed versionA of Ankidroid.
3) Then I connected cellphone to computer, but there was not anything in folder AnkidroidA or other.
4) I disconnected cellphone of computer and opened versionA of Ankidroid, which was installed previously. I opened Setting>Advanced>Collection path and changed Ankidroid to AnkidroidA.
5) Then I connected cellphone to computer, it automatically has created a Ankidroid folder. So there were completely similar files in both Ankidroid and AnkidroidA folders.
6) I disconnected cellphone of computer and try to import a deck, which was in internal storage of cellphone; but, I show this error again "Ankidroid has encountered a problem; a report is being generated ..."

Have I installed versionA incorrectly? I think I have done what you said but it yet shows this error. So, what should I do now?

Thank you for your patience for my problem. I appreciate your helps.
