Connection timed out, only mobile Devices, DNS 8.8.8.8 is set and did work

Dear all,

i am facing the problem that my mobile Ankidroids (two devices) won´t sync anymore.
Message:
 "Sync error Connection timed out. Either you internet connection is experiencing problems, or you have a very large file in you media folder"
I logged off on one device and since i can´t even log in anymore.
AnkiApp on my Computer works fine and i can log in to ankiweb on all Devices.
They use all the same Wifi!
I did add the DNS 8.8.8.8 last days when i first encountered issues BUT on ALL devices. After adding the DNS to my WiFi Router it worked. 
As i said since yesterday evening my mobiles won´t sync nor log in. Even if i go on regular cell Data instead of Wifi.

Any idea which might help?

Please use the main Anki forum to resolve this issue as it is related to the AnkiWeb server update and not AnkiDroid. Sorry for the inconvenience.
