Hi there!
That's unfortunate, as it is difficult to fix this on chromebooks
where it is not as easy to load development versions - we've made
this much more robust in the dev releases of the upcoming 2.16
release (https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases)
That said - you can likely get around this by going into settings
-> advanced and enabling v2 scheduler and new timezone support.
Then if you use Anki Desktop make sure to turn off "legacy
timezone support" in it's settings
Hope this helps...

I got a new Chromebook last week and downloaded ankidroid. I have anki on my iPhone as well. Even though both devices are set to the same New York timezone, my ankidroid keeps saying "Your clocks off by_____ seconds. Make sure that the date, time, and timezone on your phone are set correctly, then sync again." and doesn't let my sync on my devices. This message apears when I press sync on my chromebook, but the amount of seconds that my clock is off keeps changing. Right now it says 10324 seconds, sometimes it's less and sometimes it's more. Sometimes I'm able to sync in the morings around 11:30 ish, but most of the day I'm stuck. It's messing up my studying and the other forum I was on couldn't help me figure it out. I should also note that my previous computer that I used to study with ankidroid for years was also a Chromebook, so I don't really understand why it's acting out now. I have power washed and wiped the whole computer multiple times to try and sort this out, but no matter what the problem remains the same, please help. --
