collection.media folder in Ankidroid

Hi, is it possible to move the folder "collection.media" to my external card and still use it via Ankidroid without any problem? the reason for this is that I already have many media files and it has already used up all of my space on the main internal/system/phone card (i do not know how it is defaultly called).

External SD cards aren't officially supported, see this point in the FAQ: https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/wiki/FAQ#my-ankidroid-files-are-stored-on-a-sd-card-how-can-i-point-ankidroid-to-them
