Changing layout of cards copied to a new deck changes original layout as well

Hi !

I'm using a big 8.000 danish sentences deck and whenever I find expressions that are specially puzzling to me, I copy them to another deck with the plugin Create Copy of Selected Cards. But in this new deck I would like to change the layout. The layout in the main BIG deck is audio in the front and sentence,translation,audio in the back. I went to the new deck (the one with with the copied cards) and edited with  deck/study now/edit/cards where I changed the layout to be the desired one:  translation in the front and sentence, audio in the back. When I played the deck the changes were as expected BUT, the main deck was affected as well. When I change the layout in one deck it is changed in the other. How can I have separated layouts?

How could I accomplish this ?  Thanks in advance for your help!

You'll need to create a new note type for the deck with the new layout. Changing the note type for all cards in a deck will be easier to do in Anki Desktop than in AnkiDroid. See the manual for general information on note types: https://apps.ankiweb.net/docs/manual.html#note-types
