Hint button doesn't show on mobile device

Hi guys,
I created a hint button in a template set up for a certain field.
On my desktop the hint button will appear when i create a new card, and the field attached to the hint button is filled with information.

But when i am creating a card on my mobile device in the same template, the hint button will not appear.
Even when the field is filled.

Has somebody an explanation for this behavior ?
I have a samsung galaxy II.

Thanks for the feedback. By "field editor" I think you mean "card editor" :)

Basically on Anki Desktop, if you put into the actual field itself '{{hint:Hint}}' it works fine on the Desktop version, but does not work on AnkiDroid. For it to work on AnkiDroid, you have to open up the field editor for that note type and add it there.

This actually makes a lot more sense, because what I did originally was manually go through 500+ cards in a deck and add '{{hint:hint}}' to every field. Then I had to go through and delete them :(

Also about showing hints on android:

I have 2 fields: A,B and inserted them as hints into front.

• On Anki Desktop I get "show [title of A] and [title of B]
• On AnkiDroid it only says "show hint" and "show hint"

Can this be resolved somehow?
