I noticed that the SRS implementation on ankidroid is incomplete. In
this case, how are cards scheduled?

Is ankidroid stable and productive?

Thanks,

Roger

Hi Roger,
Thanks for your interest!

It used to be incomplete, but now AnkiDroid has complete SRS :-)
The algorithm is exactly the same as the normal Anki desktop software.
(actually, only "leeches" are not implemented, as far as I know)

Yes, AnkiDroid is stable, and productive.
I encourage you to try it, and report any problem if you find one.

Cheers!
Nicolas

PS: Where did you read this? It might be some old description that we
need to update.

An alternative is to run AnkiMini on your device. Since this currently
has full syncing support & SRS support which the native client does
not, this may be a better option.

....

AnkiMini offers syncing and full SRS support, which is not currently
available in the native client.

There are two options for Android:

1. A native client, available in the Android store. Supports SRS
(or will do so shortly), but doesn't currently support syncing yet.

Indeed!
Roger, thanks for pointing out this.

Damien, I think the "or will do so shortly" part can be removed on
ichi2.net/anki

And "sounds/images" is true for AnkiDroid too... I don't use them but
can sounds/images users confirm it works?

I modified the wiki to reflect the fact that AnkiDroid has SRS.

Thanks a lot!

Yes, like SRS, both sound and images work on AnkiDroid too. Videos still don't work but it should not take a long time to make the app able to reproduce it in an usable way for the user (it is more a matter of user interface).

Thank you for your feedback, Roger!

I've removed the bit about 'full SRS support' from the AnkiMini
section too, as it implied AnkiDroid didn't have this.
