Hello,

Firstly thank you for the wonderful app.

I'm writing concerning the issue I posted on Google Play (attached).
I got your suggestion for solving my problem, but I cannot find a way to apply it.

The problem is that every field of every card is displayed in bold in AnkiDroid.
In Anki on Windows I tried to set font-weight in my card templates:

.card {
font-weight: normal;
}

{{Text}}

or

.sm {
font-weight: normal;
}

{{Text}}

It doesn't reflect in AnkiDroid.
If I change style to "bold" I see that it works in Anki Desktop, but "normal" doesn't make Text look normal in AnkiDroid.

I hope we can find a solution to the issue.

Elena

AnkiDroid Flashcards
Ваша оценка: ★★★★

Great app, I used it a lot when on foot, studying German. Thank you! Now I'm back after some time, and here new interface. And it looks cool! But everything is in bold?? questions/answers for every type of cards are all in bold. In my cards I used to highlight words in examples, which are to translate, and now I'm stuck guessing what a question is :(

Hi thanks for your message.

We haven't made any changes to AnkiDroid that would suddenly make the fonts display bold.
What version of Android and Android System Webview are you using? Please make sure you have the latest webview.

Most likely it's either an issue with webview or an issue with your default system font.

Hi,

I attached an example deck and some screenshots of how cards are displayed originally by Anki Desktop and by AnkiDroid with default font and OpenSans-Regular.

Default system font in fact seems to be bold, but when regular font is used, tag in card's fields does not work as well.

AnkiDroid 2.5.4
Android System WebView 47.0.2526.100

You need to change "font-familiy: arial;" in the card's styling section (click on "Cards" at the bottom of the note editor) to "font-family: arial;" to fix this for your cards since there was a typo in AnkiDroid's default styling.
