I have made an Anki deck that contains English, Japanese Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana.

The deck works perfectly on Anki Desktop. But on Ankidroid the Kanji doesn't display (everything else displays correctly). The Kanji is just blank.

When I go to the edit the cards on Ankidroid, the Kanji field is blank (this doesn't happen on Anki Desktop).

How can I fix this?

Thanks!

Ankidroid Stats:

AnkiDroid Version = 2.5.4

Android Version = 2.3.7

ACRA UUID = 12d5b98f-ca15-4bc0-920e-467928dc0f63

The deck I am using is attached.

Kanji 1.apkg

You probably don't have a Japanese font on your phone and need to install one manually: https://ankidroid.org/docs/manual.html#customFonts

I've tested your deck and it seems to be working alright (I am on Android 4.4.4 though). Have you tried installing a Japanese font as suggested by Eginhard? It is quite likely that your device does not have one pre-installed.
