New / review cards were increased but no change

Hi,

I am learning foreign words and now I found that the amount Anki offers me is a bit small, I'd learn more every day.

Hence I modified the Group options of this deck to the followings yesterday:

• New Cards > New cards/day 40 (parent limit 10)
• Reviews > Maximum reviews/day 150 (parent limit 100)

Unfortunately today I still got the same 10 new item/day, and when finished, only 74 reviews happened across several decks.

1. Why doesn't it offer my 40 new words today?
2. Why it doesn't approaches the 150 review/day, only just around the half?

The parent deck sets an absolute limit, so you'll need to at least increase the parent deck limits to more than the subdeck. I found this confusing as well when I first started using subdecks..
