Suggestion: adjust audio playback speed

Hello.

First of all, great app!  The interface is clean, responsive, and it has 95 percent of the functionality of anki desktop, at a glance.

One thing I do miss is the ability to ramp up the playbackspeed in anki desktop by adjusting the mplayer configuration file... as far as I know, this is not necessarily an 'official feature', nor is there a plugin that lets you do this, but for those of us reviewing more than 5 minutes of audio, or video, it's an essential feature.

Are there any plans to add the ability to adjust playback speed, and would this even be feasible?

While I'm on this subject, would there be any plans to add basic controls to the audio/video playback sections, or perhaps to allow your app to open a media file in another app that's a dedicated media player (for example mxplayer, VLC, etc..)?

I would assume that giving ankidroid the option to open media in a media player app would be a much simpler route, compared to baking these features into ankidroid, but would be interested to hear a developer's perspective on this.

Hi,

I'm not sure if changing the playback speed is that easy to implement. Anyway, just like other additional playback controls, this won't be implemented unless it's a feature in Anki Desktop as well. I would also say that audio/video files should usually be that short that the only thing you'd ever need is the "Replay" button.
