About Anki app Android (help!)

Hello! :) I really wanted to use the app on my Android phone but the Play Store says the app is too old and therefore not compatible with my new phone. Can you please update it so I can use it on my phone?? :(

I love the app on desktop, but it would be amazing and very useful to be able to use it on mobile as well :(

Hi,  thank you for your encouraging words.

Currently, some issue related to Google's new policy is blocking downloading AnkiDroid on Play Store via devices with newer Android version. To solve this issue, the development team is now working to update AnkiDroid to the new version.

If the following "Join the beta" section is still shown on the page of Play Store app on your device, you can download the latest pre-release version of AnkiDroid from Play Store by joining the beta test *and* the alpha test from here: https://docs.ankidroid.org/#alphaTesting

Alternatively, you can download the latest pre-release version from the following development page: https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases/tag/v2.16.0beta1
