CAN'T DOWNLOAD THE APP

Hello, I can't download the app in my android. It says that the app isn't available because it was made for an older version of android. Is it still possible to dowload the app? Thank you.

Yes, it is still possible. 

Currently, some issue related to a change of Google policy seems blocking newly downloading the current released version of AnkiDroid (2.15.6) from Play Store to devices with newer Android versions. To solve this issue, the development team is now working in a rapid pace to update AnkiDroid to the new version as soon as possible.

If the following "Join the beta" section is still shown on the page of Play Store app on your device, you can download the latest pre-release version of AnkiDroid from Play Store by joining the beta test from the section *and* joining the alpha test here: https://docs.ankidroid.org/#alphaTesting

Even if it isn't shown, you may be able to download the beta from Play Store by joining the beta test from here: https://docs.ankidroid.org/#betaTesting - and joining the alpha test from the next section: https://docs.ankidroid.org/#alphaTesting

Alternatively, you can download the latest pre-release version from the following development page: https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases/tag/v2.16.0beta1
