How to remap AnkiDroid answer buttons to hardware buttons?

According to this thread, AnkiDroid supports keyboard buttons.

For example, you can press space to reveal an answer and then press 1, 2, 3, 4, to answer the cards.

Is there anyway to remap these settings.

I own a Sony Xperia Play phone which has a built in sliding Playstation gamepad.

I would like it so that when I press a button (e.g. ▲) it triggers an answer (e.g. remap the ▲ key to the keyboard 1 key).

Is there anyway of doing this in AnkiDroid?

I know a lot of apps have a settings page where can you tap buttons on the gamepad to map them to actions (similar to the Gestures settings page that is already in Ankidroid).

This thread recommends using External Keyboard helper Pro, but it doesn't seem to work with the Xperia Play Gamepad

Maybe you can try contacting the External Keyboard helper Pro developers about supporting the Xperia Play?

Are there any other keyboard buttons (e.g. like a button for undo and mark)

Not sure if there is a list, you should be able to find all shortcuts in Anki Desktop menus.
