Hi there!

I was unable to reproduce this with the newest versions of AnkiDroid - 2.9alpha16 on my phone at the moment - it worked the same on Anki Desktop (on the Mac) and AnkiDroid on my phone. One card was created and it showed both occlusions correctly

Can you detail which versions of AnkiDroid and android you are using, and if possible, try to either enroll in the beta program for AnkiDroid (so you’ll receive the newer versions, if I understand that program correctly) or head to https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases directly so you can download one of the newer ones?

Hope this helps -
-Mike

I was having this problem as well. I think my Ankidroid version is 2.8

Attached is apkg of the deck that has the problem and a screenshot of the problem cloze showing fine in the card broswer.

Hi Hyran - thanks for sharing the sample deck, that helped

I looked at it in 2.8.3 and 2.9alpha16 and I got inconsistent results.

One of the cards in the deck actually has a cloze error (a clozure isn't
closed correctly), but most of them show up just fine.

There were at least a couple notes that behaved unexpectedly in the
review though. So what I see is that in current stable and our
development version there may be a problem with displaying certain
clozures, but I can definitely say that most clozures (even with
identical cloze tags, c1 multiple times etc) work.

Do you think you could isolate it down to just notes that have problems?
If we had an airtight reproduction case, you could open an issue here
https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/issues and try to pin it down
and get a fix

Thanks!
-Mike

Hello. Sorry, you created notes with Anki or AnkiDroid?

Thanks for trying this:
On the desktop, create a cloze question by holding down the "alt" of the keyboard and the toolbar button. Then sync and see the result in AnkiDroid

I created the note that was misbehaving with Ankidroid.

Strangely enough, the card started working later on. It might be it started working after I fixed that one cloze that wasn't annotated correctly...

If I can get a reliable reproduction in the future I'll post steps.

Thanks!
