Anki client doesn't support timezone code yet

Every time I try to sync on Anki droid I get the error "your Anki client doesn't support the new time zone code yet". This suddenly started happening. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

I need Anki on my phone. Please help.

Hi there

The setting you have turned on in AnkiDesktop carries a warning next to it that AnkiDroid does not support, but you turned it on anyway, yes?

Hi Devs, can anyone confirm that Timezone support is in the development queue/roadmap for AnkiDroid? Any ETA? AnkiMobile for iOS has it already, just sayin' ;-)

It has been in development in the form of implementing Rust language compatibility, but please feel free to propose a pull request implementing it in pure Java as a stopgap if you'd like to see it faster.

We'll happily review and merge the contribution

My studying is now all messed up since the last time change, because AnkiDroid does not support the new time zone code. My desktop Anki needs the new code to work properly; my Droid devices won't support it. PLEASE prioritize this and bring AnkiDroid back up to working in sync with all other versions of Anki...
