I am using the latest version of Ankidroid along with the Anki 2.0.
When I move a deck to my phone, Ankidroid automatically adds the note types in that deck. I am so confused now because there are so many note types when I create cards. I just want to remove some of them without deleting the app's data. Is there a way to do this? If so, please give me some advice.
Thank you very much

Hi, I think if you run database check from the main menu in AnkiDroid (you'll have to do it again in Anki Desktop, it doesn't sync) then it should remove any note types which don't have any cards assigned to them.
If the note types are still not removed after this then you'll have to reassign the notes which are assigned to them in Anki Desktop and try again.

I think check db does not remove empty note types.

You have to go to Tools/Manage note types in Anki desktop and delete the note types with 0 notes there.
N.B.: You have to sync first, and do a full sync afterwards.
When there are lots of note types with a few notes each, you should pick one you want to keep and move notes from all but one to that one "good" note type in the Anki desktop card browser. For that, too, you will have to do sync, move, remove then-empty note types, and then full sync.
