[Ankidroid] Pictures won't show

Are the files present in the collection.media directory? Do they have any unusual characters in the file name (e.g., accents, punctuation)?

The files must be in the collections.media directory in your AnkiDroid directory. I'm not sure why you can't see the ones that do work. How exactly are you adding media to your decks? Do you also sync media (it's the default)?

Here is one of the files I tried to add; the other one was a .png and apparently couldn't be uploaded through photobucket. First I had another picture, and as it didn't work I took a new picture of the same thing so there would be a new file, still didn't work. So I'm not sure if it's the file itself that is the problem. But I can still add pictures in other decks, I also have loads of similar pictures to this that have clozed other parts of what is seen.
I couldn't find the picture in the collection.media map in the phone, but I couldn't find the files of other pictures that work in Ankidroid in that map either. I honestly have no idea what the problem is.

There's nothing wrong with what you're doing, and syncing will automatically sync media as well. But if they don't appear in your collection.media directory then that's probably why they aren't showing up in AnkiDroid. What kind of file names do these files have? Any special characters (like accents)?

I think I've got the same problem, but I was able to circle it - its the way the picture is included in HTML - by looking at the HTML code of one of my broken cards I noticed that Images can be stored or linked to.
