Hi is it possible to reset the progress on all cards in a deck? I stopped using Anki for quite a while, and am just getting back into using it. I know I can go to the Card Browser and for each note, I can edit the note and reset the progress. But I have 655 notes/cards! That will take a long time. Is there a way I can reset all of it, or even reset the deck so all the progress is erased? I am using AnkiDroid version 2.4.3 on Moto X with Android 5 (Lollipop). Thank you.

PS. I'm sure I can do this on the desktop program, but right now I am not able to install Anki back onto my desktop. So I would prefer to do it through my phone. However if it's only possible to do this en masse through the desktop, please let me know and I'll wait until I can do that.

You can export the deck without the scheduling information and them import it back.

When I click "export" I'm given the option to include scheduling or not.

Presumably you can  export the deck without the scheduling, then re-import, and this would solve your problem.

There may be a better solution, and I haven't confirmed this works as expected, but maybe its worth a try for you?

Forgot to mention - I assume you would need to delete your deck within the app, otherwise the import might inherit all of the scheduling data which is still around.  I would sync to the anki server first, just in case something goes wrong, so you can get your deck back from the server.

Ooops, your post wasn't visible when I made mine.   Will he need to delete the deck in between?

Just delete the card template and then recreate the card template. Basically your card will be completely new. You can reschedule the old cards as new but they will still contain previous review history.
