Hello,
I was using AnkiDroid all day and nothing was wrong. I just opened it now and suddenly i cant go into the app. Everytime I try to access it, it shuts down, i can't even click on anything.
I have my exam next week and i would appreciate if someone could help me fix the problem.
Thank you,
Anais

Hi there!

Sorry to hear this. Can I ask what version of AnkiDroid you are on? Can you check and make sure (via system settings -> app list -> choosing ankidroid and checking permissions that way...) that AnkIDroid still has access to storage?

If that still doesn't work, can you try the latest alpha build as a parallel install to see if it functions? https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases

Hey! Thank you for the tips. I have installed the alpha build but it doesn't seem to work...
I will attach a picture of what pops up when I try to synchronize.
I don't quite know how to discover which version my AnkiDroid App is.. but I checked and there aren't any upgrades available on Playstore.. My App seems to have access to storage, there is nothing on the settings..
Thank you for the help!
Anaïs

Hey there - so, the problem is as the error indicates I think: your database is corrupted.

AnkiDroid takes automated backups around once a day and you may find that restoring from the backups just prior to this happening could fix things -- https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/wiki/FAQ#lost-my-cards

Hey there,
I tried doing what you last suggested, but I still keep getting the same message:

I don't know what else to do. Do you have any idea?
