How do I put decks from Anki Desktop to Kindle Fire (non HD)

Sorry if this is a duplicate post, I couldn't tell what went wrong with the first one.

I downloaded Anki onto my desktop and created a deck. 

Exported the deck.

Downloaded / installed Anki onto my Kindle Fire (non HD)  

According to the App store and the About, it's version 0.5.1

Via USB, I transferred my exported deck from the desktop to the Fire.

Changed the Deck Path to what I thought was the correct directory.  Tried a few different paths, and every time I went to "Load Other Deck", it says no decks found.

Any ideas?  and thanks in advance!

Please install the latest version of AnkiDroid from here:
