Have cards that I want to reverse. After clicking on .... cards then flip, am getting this error message :

anki couldn't find the line between question and answer. Please adjust the template manually to switch the question and answer.

Well, please go to the Anki desktop manual, as you are trying to do this in Anki desktop) and create the reverse card by hand.

Well, it not overly complicated. The reason that it is more  complicated than other flashcard apps is the note/card distinction and the free form templates. What makes it difficult at first is what makes Anki more flexible than most (all?) other flashcard programs. For example the many cards per note, having selective card generation or the tricks you can do with Javascript.

Thanks for reply. Manual was of no help for my error. Imported a deck and just could not use the flip button, which I had successfully used before. Video on reversing gave me a hint,  I simply swapped the code for the front template with the code in the back template box and that SEEMS to work for my situation.
