cant find tool bar for add ons on ankidroid app

hey i just downloaded the anki droid app however im not getting the tool bar option or the add ons option

does anyone have any advice

Hey there!

The toolbar should be showing up in the Note Editor ?

For add ons those are not generally available: https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/wiki/FAQ#i-want-add-ons-in-ankidroid

However there is quite a bit of work to enable something *like* desktop add-ons, in the form of a new Javascript API for AnkiDroid and related add-ons that can use it, those are only in the alphas though I think https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases
