Yeah, we're hooked up correctly with regard to developer notices etc - I got this email this morning as well
I replied to them asserting that they really should not need them, since it is only for sync and you may freely create accounts. However, if that is not adequate for them for whatever reason (I will wait for their reply) then I will provide them with some test credentials sure, I do have other apps where it is necessary but seems like for AnkiDroid it shouldn't be? We'll see

Haha I should check all my email first, seeing these in chronological order. At any rate I still assert they don't need them. I worry those credentials will expire in 3 months per AnkiWeb policy and we'll be back in this position if they continue to assert they do need them, so we'll then need some sort of "account keep alive" infrastructure like a github workflow on a timer that logs in every once in a while (and also verifies email every once in a while per Ankiweb policy? ugh)
