New cards not showing up

Hi,

Why is it that no new cards keep showing up since i added a deck? For 2 days, I have been reviewing the same cards and no new ones are appearing? I am using a deck I downloaded and I keep getting the same cards even thiugh there is about 150 cards i havent seen. Is this something in the settings that prevents me from seeing unseen cards?

You'll find relevant settings that could cause this in the deck options, especially the "New cards -> New cards/day" setting which you might need to increase. See the manual for details: https://apps.ankiweb.net/docs/manual.html#new-cards

You can also check that "Settings -> Reviewing -> New card position" is set to mixed or before reviews.

None of that seems to help, I constantly get reviewed cards filling
out my blue (new cards) stash every new day, though sometimes
genuinely new cards come as well. These are then drawn from this
stash.
I am using it on my android device. Is it possible that there is a
technical error or something that I can check?
From what I understand, the cards in blue should always be cards I
have never seen before in the deck.

If the blue number in the top left is underlined when reviewing, it means that your cards are in fact new. Maybe it is just the reversed cards that are showing up new the next day? Or you could have duplicate notes or note types that create much more than two cards (when you edit a note you can see the number of cards at the very bottom). You can also check whether you see the same behaviour on Anki Desktop, but it doesn't sound like there is a technical error.

Did you solve the problem somehow?

I got the same issue now. I have just noticed it after having added over 200 cards I still get reviewing cards as new cards.
