Dear All;
Generally I need to add cards out of  Anki. For instance when I read a newspaper or an article I should add cards. I can do it selecting and sharing it with anki. It saves the words throt saved data sections. Also I need to get meaning of words from any dictionary automatically.
How can I do this?
Many thanks.

When you "newspaper" do you mean a paper one?

Personally I write words in a list, and add the words to Anki once in a while.

If reading Japanese news websites you can add words just by putting your mouse over a word and pressing "s", see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSrQ7OxCBB0

Cheers!

I thought he was requesting an improvement to the "import to anki via clipboard contents" feature.

For example, when you are reading an online newspaper (or any website), you can select text and then click "share" then "anki" and the text will be imported into a card creation dialog.

He may be asking for this to be improved so that the meanings of words are looked up automatically (via dictionary.com, etc) and included in the card.

Albeniz, is this close?

Yes sounds like he is. I found a good workaround for adding text whilst outside the app, seems like a common question. Basically select and copy the text you want to be the front of your card, then select the text you want to the back & go-to share > anki droid. Now paste in your copied text to the front field & save your card. This is a really fast way to create cards when just reading text on your phone. As for your dictionary lookup I'm not so sure..
