AnkiDroid and other mobile Anki versions don't render LaTeX at all, it can only display equations that were rendered in Anki Desktop and synced (as images) with AnkiDroid. See the official manual for the correct steps to follow: https://apps.ankiweb.net/docs/manual.html#latex-on-web/mobile

These latex equations were pushed from the Windows version of Anki, and they work on Windows flawlessly. But some of the equations come up with an error icon on the Android platform. So what are my options from here on out? Do I need to download some additional package or should I use images instead of latex equations for AnkiDroid. Please advise.
