Hello,

Thank you for reading my email

I am pretty new to Anki but it is awesome, so efficient.

But based on my previous experience, I do have one concern: if I use Anki on one device ( my phone) then I change to a new device, will the study progress be lost? By " study progress" I mean information about which flashcard is well memorized, which is poorly memorized, stuff like that.
When I was using cram App, it broke down for a bug once, then after I reinstall it again, I lost all the study progress, as a result I have to go through ALL the cards to figure out which one needed more study, that was such a waste of time and made me give up that App forever.
So, is it also a problem for Anki?

Thank you very much and Merry Christmas!

AnkiDroid has the ability to synchronize across devices using something called AnkiWeb. Using the sync feature, your cards and your progress will be saved! In the AnkiDroid manual, you can find some detailed information:  https://ankidroid.org/docs/manual.html#_via_cloud_sync

It's also possible to export your decks manually: https://ankidroid.org/docs/manual.html#exporting

Finally, if you uninstall AnkiDroid from your phone and reinstall it, your cards and progress should still be there.

Hope that helps!
