Feature Request – Option to Hide Timer During Reviews

Hi AnkiDroid Team,

I’d like to suggest a feature that would improve the review experience. Currently, the timer is displayed during reviews (top of the screen), but there isn’t an option to hide it.

It would be great if you could add a setting to disable or hide the timer, as it can sometimes feel distracting or add unnecessary pressure while studying.

Having the option to toggle the timer on/off would give users more flexibility depending on their study preferences.

Thanks for all the great work on AnkiDroid — it’s been an amazing tool for learning.

Hi, you can hide the timer by the following steps:

1. Long press the deck in the main screen (i.e., the deck list screen)
2. [Deck options] > [Timers] > disable [Show on-screen timer]
3. [Save]
