A demo video would indeed be a great help and could improve other
people's understanding of how it works. Feel free to look into the
help section (click on the interrogation mark in AnkiDroid's main
screen) if something is still unclear.

Once you have signed in (option menu in deck picker --> my account)
with your anki account (create it here, if you don't have one:
http://ankiweb.net/account/login) you can access your personal synced
decks under "download decks" --> "personal deck". So you don't need to
copy it manually onto your sd card.
