Syncing / sharing decks between Android and Desktop Anki

This is my first post and to tell the truth I am really impressed with the quality of AnkiDroid ! It is simply a great app and I love my Android phone much much more :)
I am learning Japanese and it is a great tool. Once I master how this app works I will make a video demo. I report bugs a lot. I am using 0.7beta6 and it is much better than the official 0.6 one. Good job!!

I want to know how to do syncing properly between PC version of Anki and my Android. Sometimes I install a deck only on the desktop Anki. How do I get that deck to show on Android? do I need to manually plug my android and copy / if it is shared deck, I guess I need to download the deck again but on Android. 
How does syncing work? I guess it cannot copy decks from PC to Android or Android to PC, right?
It is very confusing how syncing works for me.

A demo video would indeed be a great help and could improve other
people's understanding of how it works. Feel free to look into the
help section (click on the interrogation mark in AnkiDroid's main
screen) if something is still unclear.

Once you have signed in (option menu in deck picker --> my account)
with your anki account (create it here, if you don't have one:
http://ankiweb.net/account/login) you can access your personal synced
decks under "download decks" --> "personal deck". So you don't need to
copy it manually onto your sd card.
