Hello!
Here is a tip for everyone who uses sync:

If you receive a message saying "A network error has occurred" even
though you are connected, then you need to:
1) Go to http://ankiweb.net
2) Accept the Terms and Conditions.

Sorry for the very misleading message :-/
We are preparing 1.1.3 which will have a clearer message.

Explanation: Ankiweb used to not have any terms of use, now there are.
I think they are quite reasonable:
http://ankiweb.net/account/terms
It should not affect too many people: The Terms and Conditions have
been up for 7 months, and people who have not checked them already
should have received an email explaining this. If you have visited
ankiweb.net in the last 7 months, you should not get the problem.

The same misleading message in other languages:
Došlo k síťové chybě.
Ett nätverksfel har uppstått.
Problemi di connessione.
Verkkovirhe on tapahtunut.
Ocorreu um erro de rede.
Une erreur réseau s'est produite.
Ein Netzwerkfehler ist aufgetreten.
Hálózati hiba történt.
Ha ocurrido un error de red.
Telah terjadi ralat jaringan.
Een netwerkfout is opgetreden.
Bir ağ hatası meydana geldi.
Wystąpił błąd sieciowy.
Một lỗi mạng đã xảy ra.
Um erro de rede ocorreu.
Det oppstod en nettverksfeil.
Došlo je do greške sa internetom.

In any case, the best is to install the latest beta version, in which
the error message has been corrected:
http://ankidroid.googlecode.com/files/AnkiDroid-1.1.3beta1.apk

Thank you for your understanding!
