Exclude decks from sync?

Hi!

Maybe I miss something obvious: How do I exclude decks from being synchronized? I would like to keep a deck for later reference but I don't want to have a copy of it on my phone since it takes up too much space.

Hello Tom,

It is not possible to sync only some decks and not others.

The syncing is done at the collection level, not at the individual deck level.

One thing you can do is create a separate profile on the desktop app and

put that deck in the separate profile: you can still sync that with AnkiWeb

(using a separate account) but only the decks in one of the profile will be

synced to your phone.

Thanks for the hint. I exported the decks as apkg and re-imported them in a new profile. I guess that's what you meant? I guess this should do the trick.
