Escalade is an event through which we will be identifying the budding
talent among all robotic enthusiasts across the country. This event will
be held in two stages:
i) Prelims
The prelims will be conducted in all major cities across the nation in
July, 2013 where Students can participate in a team of maximum 4
members. The top 6 teams from each center will be seleted and called to
IIT Guwahati to participate in the mains event of the competition to be
held during Techniche'13. Moreover the top 3 teams would get free travel

ii) Mains
Mains
round of Escalade will be held at IIT Guwahati during its Annual
Techno-Management festival TECHNICHE where participants will compete
with the finest Robotics enthusiasts from all over the nation. The
problem statement of the Mains will be different from that of prelims
and would be declared after Prelims round. Participants will also get a
chance to witness and participate in various other events which will be
conducted during these 3 days .
A prize worth 80,000 INR will be given to top 2 teams of the mains event.
