I have always used Kodi for IPTV streams but am interested in trying other Android options just to see what is out there. A search turns up (too) many possibilities, so I am wondering if I can narrow things somewhat by asking for recommendations. I don't like VLC. I am looking for a TV-like interface that is clean and easy to use from the couch. Ideally, I want to be able to switch between multiple playlists, organise them my way, change the layout, and make recordings.

Kodi can't handle more than 500 channels, well atleast for me, sometimes when i find an m3u list, i have to cull many stations to make it work, but i give up, I use Monitor, it can load 10k+ channels, its based off vlc3.0 but easier to use as the playlist don't keep disappearing once u click a channel and uo can keep changing playlist or run many instances of the program if you wish..its not great but it not java scripted much or affects space (less than 80mb).. haven't seen anything better which doesn't start eating up ur CPU/RAM..

I went through dozens of them today and am a bit groggy from it all so I don't recall specifically what problems I had with which apps, but there was something major with every single one, including TiviMate. My benchmark is Kodi IPTV Simple Client, which works pretty well but has some limitations, such as inflexible layout and inability to record. So I am looking for something that works better than that on Android.

The main things I ran into were apps that simply didn't work, or were unstable, or only partly worked, apps that ignore my DNS proxy and VPN and don't work with geo-blocked streams, inflexible layout choices, failure to connect to anything, terrible recording and playback interfaces, and just a plethora of things that didn't work as advertised without a clue as to why. I intend to keep looking but I have had enough for today. So far everything I have tried just makes me grateful that Simple Client works so well.

Just to add that the best app I have found so far is IPTV Extreme. It has endless configuration options and the kind of flexibility I like. Unfortunately I can't get it to work with any geo-blocked site, even though it allows me to specify my own DNS servers and correctly displays them. I also can't get the recording function to work but haven't looked into that very far yet.

Since the dawn of televisions in 1927, the invention and the media industry have evolved rapidly. Physical changes have resulted in thin 8K TVs, while digital changes have made online streaming services more attractive. One type of streaming service that has been gaining popularity in recent years is IPTV.

Just like regular cable-based television, IPTV offers all sorts of channels. An IPTV service typically includes every channel type, from music to sports to entertainment. The channels offered do vary from provider to provider, however.

Kodi Addons and builds offer unlimited streaming content, but could also get you into legal trouble if caught streaming free movies, TV shows, or sports. Currently, your IP is visible to everyone. Kodi users are strongly advised to always connect to a VPN while streaming online. A good Kodi VPN hides your identity, bypasses government surveillance, geo-blocked content, and ISP throttling (which also helps in buffer-free streaming).

7. Exit and then restart your Kodi application. After restarting, PVR IPTV Simple Client will launch automatically. The PVR addon will start loading the channels from the M3U playlist you entered. Wait for the addon to finish importing the channels.

Go back and scroll down to the row labeled TV channel groups. Here, you can access categories of channels. The All channels tile is another way to access the list of all available channels.

These three M3U playlists are the most popular and reliable ones on the internet for watching IPTV on Kodi legally and for free. Go ahead and add them to the PVR IPTV Simple Client. Feel free to review the instructions in Part 2 above about adding an M3U playlist.

SGTV Live TV is one of the new kids on the block. But surprisingly, this IPTV addon has proven to be one of the best in the business. This addon performs exceedingly well, meaning no buffering or stuttering when streaming your favorite TV channels.

LiveNet is one of the best free and stable IPTV Kodi addons available. Brought to you by the LooNatics Asylum Repo, LiveNet categorizes channels into various folders, like Sports, Entertainment, News, Cooking, Music, Kids, and Religious. The channels are also sorted into folders based on region, like French, Australian, Bangla, Punjabi, etc.

SportsDevil is the all-time favorite IPTV Kodi addon for sports. This addon has something for every sports fan. With this addon, you can stream sports-related TV channels worldwide, from football matches to wrestling events. It even offers multiple links to stream each channel.

You can then access the new addon from the Kodi home screen by scrolling down to the Add-ons tab and then scrolling to the right portion of the screen. Your new addon will be in the row labeled Video add-ons.

Thankfully, there is a foolproof way to keep all your streaming activities hidden from your ISP and the Government. All you need is a good VPN for Kodi. A VPN will mask your original IP which is and will help you bypass Online Surveillance, ISP throttling, and content geo-restrictions.

NOTE: We do not encourage the violation of copyright laws. But, what if you end up streaming content from an illegitimate source unintentionally? It is not always easy to tell the difference between a legit and illegal source.

In this guide, I showed you how to watch IPTV on Kodi in two ways without involving a cable service or a satellite antenna. IPTV is one of the conveniences of the century, letting you use your internet connection to stream virtually any live TV channel.
