I went into the Styles palette and selected a sans-serif paragraph font 'Adelle-Sans', and saved that. Prior to that I had been using Merriweather.

YET in 7.1 preview, the paragraph font continues to display like a Times Roman/generic serif font. I have never used that font on this website. I cleared my cache, and still that font displays.

I contacted Squarespace Help, and they were not particularly helpful. The only thing they offered was that there must be some code still in place. There is not. I did the site so I know what the customizations were.

Hmmm rather difficult to help with whatever might be going on when in preview mode, as you can't share what's going on. Have you tried duplicating the website and then going fully through the upgrade to 7.1 process on that duplicate website, see what happens?

Arial is a secondary font in the CSCU brand. It is a sophisticated sans serif font and is used as a supporting typeface, and can be a nice switch up from the primary typeface. It can also be used for headlines and unique call outs such as displaying quotations and numbers in both print and web.

This commercial type family was chosen for its dependability and origins in urban signage and engineering. It is extremely flexible, and available in multiple weights, including a Narrow variation in all weights.

Adelle is a modern slab serif that bridges the divide between tradition and modernity. This serif typeface and its companion sans serif typeface Adelle Sans serve as the secondary typefaces for use in designed materials.

When you create a new blank document, any text you type appears in the default font, which is called Calibri, at a font size of 11 points, which is a standard size for text in everyday documents (such as letters or reports).

Adelle Sans is a sans-serif font. It goes well with Gilroy, Soleil, Tiempos, Editorial New, Acumin, Adobe Caslon, FF Good Headline, Adelle and FF More. If you're thinking about using Adelle Sans then try 50px for headers. Give 22px a shot for content.

The original Adelle Sans font family provides a more clean and spirited take on the traditional grotesque sans. In 2013 Veronika and Jos began a Devanagari project during a concentrated course at the University of Reading, UK. Erin McLaughlin and Vaibhav Singh continued consultancy and design a few years later, and the Adelle Sans Devanagari family came into its own when Pooja Saxena joined TypeTogether in 2017. In all, this family is the culmination of five years of sweating the details.

As is typical with TypeTogether typefaces, the most demanding editorial design problems were taken into consideration when creating Adelle Sans Devanagari: It is therefore available in seven weights that capitalise on legibility and provide the designer a wide range of text emphasis within their layout. By creating weights from Thin to Heavy, the Devanagari is a perfect counterpart to the Latin in tone, vertical proportions, and functionality.

This sans serif counterpart to the award-winning Adelle type family proposes a cleaner and more spirited take on the traditional grotesque sans. As typical with TypeTogether fonts, the most demanding editorial design pieces were taken into consideration when engineering Adelle Sans.
