Hi. I'm trying to make a video for YouTube, but when I tried to work on it with VideoPad Video Editor, I couldn't get any sound whatsoever. The video is fine, but I can't hear anything. I've used two MP4 files with sound and I even played an MP3 file, and no sound is coming from any of them. But when I play the video in my video player, the sound is working fine. Am I missing a codec or something? I need to get this video up ASAP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
Well, I had to uninstall and reinstall. I was able to get a couple videos to play sound, but not the one I want to edit. At least not yet. It's a pretty big video file(over 1GB) that I recorded from a Zoom interview with my friend. Does it take awhile for files that big to load completely?
UPDATE: Never mind. It was the video file I was using. Luckily, the other one I had works fine. Weird. But I think I'm good now.
I am using VideoPad 8.42. I have been using a headset to edit the sound for a while. but recently I can't hear any sound using the headset but can hear it from a normal speaker! I tested the headset is working properly as i can use it to hear Youtube sound. It is very strange. I am wondering if any setting in VP has been changed accidentally. Can any one give me an advice on how to fix it?
Would you be willing to complete a NCH Software Bug Report so our programmers can try to fix this? If so, please click Yes and then enter the field to tell us exactly what you did so we can attempt to repeat it and fix it.'
I had been using the program for 1 week and it was fine. Then on my third video I tried to uploae it to FB and received the same message. I don't seem to be able to get a response from Tech Support, so I purchased the program and am still getting the same error message. I purchased the premium package, but no extra tech support. can someone help?
So whats the deal. I have the same problem. The basic version never gave me any problems till I bought the premium package, and I get the same thing as you guys. It wont let me save the movie, keeps freezing or locking up.
Okay. Here's the deal. I'm in the middle of making a complex G-Mod machinima with this awesome new programme I found and I start to get this error every time I place something down on the timeline. I recon it's trying to get you to buy the premum version. I think this because I spotted a spelling error in the message box. When you hover over it on your toolbar at the bottom of your Windowns 7 screen, the spelling reads 'Abnormal Execution' but when you go into the message it reads 'Abnormal Exception. If it isn't just a scam, I would requre a way to fix this extremely quickly since I have a deadline I need it to be out by. 20th of March 2013. I couldn't start again because It would take to long to edit.
Every time I've ever used VideoPad, it has had some MAJOR issues. Firstly, adding too many elements into the timeline / asset repository will cause the program to become super sluggish; to the point of taking multiple seconds to update the changing of text or the repositioning of images / text overlays. More recently, I've had an issue with the software literally playing through the entire fucking timeline and will ignore all inputs to stop it or to click on anything else until it decides randomly to work again - usually a full thirty seconds later - or it reaches the end of the timeline. If you're working on a video that's over ten minutes long, better go find something else to do in the meantime.
