Boardview is a type of files containing information about printed circuit boards, their components, used signals, test points and more. These files may have following extensions: .asc, .bdv, .brd, .bv, .cad, .cst, .gr, .f2b, .fz. and others.
Usually, different manufacturers use their own boardview formats which makes it difficult to view and work with these files. Each format requires installation of special software which is inconvenient.
Just FYI, other mindmapping programs have lots of layout options, whereas FP has only two. Dimitry told me this was mostly because of lack of user demand for alternative layouts. If I remember correctly (feel free to correct me) Dimitry also said, I think, that it would be a challenge to add other layouts as the programming is complicated and that he did it a long time ago so the logic is not fresh in his mind, although I'm sure he would be open to the possibility.
Outline view shows summary nodes, floating nodes and nodes with changed locations at the same positions as if they were just ordinary nodes. Adding other outline view like layouts is not difficult while creating new layouts considering this information is very challenging.
Just for a different point of view, if this could help, I use sometimes this way for creating "tables"=matrices, it is far from what you show but you have to think about it as to some sort of prototype.
In the attached map apply the script to the node with the windows icon (similar to a matrix)
Obviously it is possible to extend the matrix nodes with some subtrees, but it has to be studied a little bit...
After some thought, maybe this "Trello/Kanban Board" view doesn't necessarily have to be it's own layout but instead it could be it's own node, which I would call the Column Node which is basically a Floating Node but automatically arranges it's children vertically like in the Outline View. Here's how I imagine it would work:

I think those are an interesting view to be apply to partial zones of a map and they are very good for visualizing concepts or issues...
@sfpc I've just opened your Matrix Creator.mm and ran the script.
? It's a nice idea, i.e. to create a matrix view of a regular node structure by using free-positioned nodes. The link back to the original node is a useful feature.
It is a bit cumbersome because you have to think to axes references and to put in attributes the coordinates...
A bit of history: I used the forum support and I enhanced it a little bit. I was annnoyed not beeing able to create matrices of existing nodes just as an alternative view (to study/reflect on specific parts of projects). Still I'm missing gantt effects...
But because normal MSProject gantt is not enough to summarize activities during time periods, I find better to use some sort of a matrix approach.
The link is because I do not want to change the original nodes map (including often notes, deliverables links, etc.)
To change matrix you have just to add another attribute the nodes
My hope is that this prototype could eventually suggest how to embed matrices in FP.

Once you have your sprint plan in place, you'll execute that plan during the sprint. In your daily Scrum meetings, your team can view progress made to backlog items and tasks from the sprint Taskboard.
Your Taskboard provides a visualization of flow and status of each sprint task. With it, you can focus on the status of backlog items and work assigned to each team member. It also summarizes the total amount of Remaining Work to complete for a task and within a column.

Unlike the Kanban board for a product backlog, you can't add another columns to the Taskboard via a team configuration setting. Instead, you need to modify the workflow definitions for the task work item type used by the project. Workflow customizations update the columns for the Taskboard for all teams within the project.
Your Taskboard automatically refreshes when changes occur. There isn't any live updates control, it simply happens in the background. As other team members move or reorder cards on the taskboard, the Taskboard automatically updates with these changes. You don't need to press F5 to see the latest changes.
With this view, you can focus on the work completed and the work remaining for each individual team member. You can quickly see who may need help with completing their sprint tasks. This view shows items and tasks assigned to the selected team member.
To filter on the tasks for a specific team member, choose Filter , and then select their name from the Assigned to filter box. For more information, see Interactively filter backlogs, boards, queries, and plans.
Each team member can review the tasks they've worked on and estimate the work remaining. If they've discovered that it's taking longer than expected to complete, they should increase the Remaining Work for the task. Remaining Work should always reflect exactly how much work the team member estimates is remaining to complete the task.
If you exceed the number of items allowed on your taskboard, you'll receive a message indicating that you need to reduce the number of items. The maximum number of items includes work item types included in the Requirement and Task categories.
You can reduce the number of items on the taskboard by moving them to the backlog or another sprint. When you move a parent PBI or user story, all active child tasks (State not equal to Done or Closed) automatically move with the parent item.
You will find user stories in the left column, followed by their individual tasks (as child work packages) which are sorted by status. Therefore, you can immediately see the status of a user story and its associated tasks. Clicking on the +-icon next to a user story opens a window to create a new task.
Here, you can also specify whether the versions in the Backlogs view should be displayed folded. You can choose whether backlogs are to be displayed folded or collapsed by default. In My account, select Settings from the side menu and check or uncheck the respective box next to the field Show versions folded.

Both Kanban boards and Taskboards support visualizing the flow of work and monitoring metrics to optimize that flow. Kanban boards track requirements, are sprint-independent, and provide a cumulative flow chart for monitoring progress. Each sprint is associated with a Taskboard that supports tracking tasks defined for the sprint. You can monitor progress through capacity charts and the sprint burndown chart.
