Does anyone here play Touhou? Watch the anime? (Which was crappy,
but...) Or even read the doujins? Anyone at all?

I actually kinda liked the Touhou anime (at least the one episode that
I saw). I've also played the games a little, but whenever I watch
Youtube videos of Mountain of Faith, I just dispair and give up.

Never heard of the series. I've been watching stuff on Hulu.com,
Joost.com and Funimation.com recently. Funimation has put a lot of
their shows up on their site. Been watching Ouran High School Host
Club, that show is funny, and saw Ghost Hunt. That show was genuinely
scary, and the science employed to explain the much of the paranormal
occurrences is dead on accurate with what is done in ghost research
today.

Mike, Touhou is pretty popular in Japan. I mean, the anime was fan-
made, people are just that dedicated to it. It originally started a
series of games (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wT7PUv0QSa0), and then
expanded into doujins, flash videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?
v=rAbhJk4YJns), an anime series (http://www.youtube.com/watch?
v=H3tOwqp334c), and more.
