Hi I really like how the models look in animeeple editor. I manage to
export successfully animated models to Shiva 3D. What settings should
I need in order to make the character look like in animeeple. I think
is just lighting stuff. Do you add something extra to the material or
is just pure lighting technique? It's not a Shiva question just in
general. What do I have to use to render the character like animeeple
do? Thanks.

Hi Carlos,

Animeeple uses a standard phong shading model to light the character. We have one main directional light shining from almost directly above and a small "bounce" light, which is also directional coming from underneath the character.

You can search for "3-point lighting", which is a common lighting design methodology for games and movies for more interesting and artistic looks.

Thank you. I'm new in game design and programming. But not new in
programming. You guys have a pretty good product, keep up the good
work.
