I rigged a model, but everytime I save it as dae and open it in
meshlab, than I see the T-Pose only. What did I wrong?

I have a T-Pose man mesh and want to let the man sit in a seat for a
design rendering. My 3D software is Rhino3D. This software can import
mesh people, but dosn't support animation data. I like to buy high
detailed T-pose models, bring it in the right pose, save the deformed
mesh and open it in Rhino3D for a still image. With rigging I mean I
bring the mesh people in the right pose only, no movement is needed.
If I set the right pose at animeeple, save the figure and open it in
meshlab (for converting dae to obj for Rhino3D), than I get the T-Pose
only. Is there a way to avoid the default T-Pose? If not, could it
implemented soon, so that I could use it for my current project (I
would need it until the end of the week)?

It could be great, if the current deformation could be saved. It's so
pity to see the deformed mesh, but get no access to it. The only ways
I know are to buy expensive software like 3dsmax or lightwave, but for
rigging a mesh people for a still image only? Couldn't implemented in
the near future? The mesh is deformed, only an output feature is
needed like "save current pose as mesh". Please try to implement it.
I'm curious for a workaround per other DAE-to-OBJ exportes.

Hi Brad, sounds good. I tried it but the slider at the bottom uof the
UI (animation tab?) dosn't work, stick at the first position. I used
DAE as file format. What did I wrong? Here my current test file with
the man:
Make sure that you have clicked on the animation tab in Fragmotion (on
the right hand side in the middle). A menu will open above it entitled
"animation". Then make sure that you click on the animation that you
want (i.e. Anim-1 or similar). If the slider is "frozen" then you are
probably in the default pose and not in the animation. Move the
slider to the pose that you want and then choose "export pose".
If you still have trouble and you can post the file here in a file
that I can use (.ugh, .fbx., .dae, etc.) then I will try to help you
further. Make sure that you do not loose the animations when you
convert, though.
I will take a look at your file and get back to you.

but there is no animation data. I used Animeeple to set it in the
right pose. The FBX seems to contain a skeleton, because animeeple
allow to assign some bones at the import dialog.
I hope the Animeeple team can add an option for exporting the deformed
mesh. Is it possible? Animeeple is so easy to use for rigging, please
enable the option.
You can download sitting characters here though:

PS: thank you for the link. the mesh people from the link are not free
models from axyz-design. I bought this one for arch viz in the past
and this people arn't detailed enough and dosn't match my seat.
