Dear all

I wanted to thank you all - belatedly - for making the course stimulating, enjoyable and challenging: as I said in one of the sessions, and probably banged on about in general terms, animation ('animation'!) is all about layers, pluralities, meta-narratives, which is exactly what the group itself made possible, too. So, thanks for having me, and do stay in touch.

I was sad not to have made it to the drink last week. I hope it went well. Anyway, my regular e-mail address is ad...@alluvial.org.uk , should you need it.

hope to see you again,
adam

Hi all, just wanted to say thanks as well for all the
films/discussion/ideas. Was great to meet everyone and hope to see you in
the world of experimental animation sometime soon.

Speaking of which, I'm off to see the Oskar Fischinger retrospective at
the Tate this evening. Starts at 7, not sure if there's still tickets.
Will probably head for a drink afterward as well...

Also, in the last session I was trying to remember the name of a piece of
software designed to produce programmed visuals (for want of a better
phrase). It's called Processing and is free, there's some interesting
project examples on the website...

http://processing.org/

...and if you spend a bit of time in the learning section you should be
producing small pieces of the future in no time.

There are other program's out there, but Processing is the easiest to pick
up as far as I'm aware - although I've only ever dabbled.

Keep in touch...

Simon
