Hi

Yes I did look here on the website and was excited to get started with trying things.
I am having trouble importing my own images
In your example elements you have a .png file and also an .nmt file for each element.
How do I create the .nmt file from my .png file as Animata does not seem to recognise the.png file?

I was alo wondering if you have any tutorials written as its easy to miss things in the videos you have on your site.

I think its a great piece of software, can't wait to use it!

Thanks
Georgie

hi
only briefliy, (as it's longlongtime ago), that i did work with animata:

an .nmt file is the file you save (¡do it often, with progerssing numbers until your`e finished! as there is no "undo" in animata)

it's built/based on the .png and has all the other informations (size,layer, position, cutoff (=vertexes), alpha, bone-connections, flexibility etcetc) .

an .nmt looks like this (from the "flute-Player"-example):

flute.zip

An nmt file is text. Are you trying to use a png file in your Animata
scene?

I beleive that the image has to be in the same directory as the nmt
file, and you can then refer to it by file name in the nmt file:

For example:

<layer name="puppet2" x="105.000000" y="30.000000"
z="0.000000" alpha="1.000000" scale="1.000000" vis="1">
<texture location="indo.png" x="76.000000" y="-31.000000"
scale="1.000000" />

(From the "temple" example scene.)
