Hi guys I'm a new to animata and just wanted to ask when i use animata how will i be able to connect this software to a motion capture camera like the Xbox Kinect. any ideas

You can use OSC connection.

Could be a Processing (https://processing.org/) aplication that read the kinect information and send the data to animata via OSC.
