Subject: 15 Year Old Dog and Kid Friendly Girl Seeking a Home - Baltimore, MD
Jasmine - female, 15 years old, 48lbs
Jasmine was surrendered to our care as her family was no longer able to care for her. We have learned so much about this girl while she has been with us though; she truly deserves to be back in a home.
She is a spunky 15-year-old with plenty of pep in her step! She does an adorable little happy feet dance when she gets excited and will happily show off her “sit” skills. Jasmine walks beautifully on the leash, is food motivated, and loves to hop up on a bench for snuggles and attention. She also appears housetrained at the shelter.
She recently enjoyed a field trip and she hopped right into the car, eager to begin her outing, and proved to be a wonderful companion. Jasmine walks nicely on leash, is easygoing with new people, and was even great with a toddler during her adventure. With her gentle nature and joyful spirit, Jasmine has so much love and life left to give.
Volunteers described her as “pure of heart” and a “big baby,” which fits her sweet personality perfectly. She knows her basic commands, enjoys hiking, and is always up for exploring with her people.
Jasmine has met other dogs at the shelter, she is a gentle tolerant girl!
This senior girl has multiple common medical conditions which include patchy hair loss, periodontal disease, various masses, stiff gait, and decreased muscle mass. A full medical summary can be provided upon request.
