Subject: Nervous But Loving: Meet Crane Operator!! - Baltimore, MD

- Rescue Needed -

Crane Operator - unaltered female, 2yo, 56.8lbs

Crane Operator came in as a stray on 3/18 and is slowly settling into her new environment. She’s a little nervous at first, but when she knows someone is her friend, she melts, leaning against you for pets and scratches and enjoying quiet moments of affection. She loves sniffing and exploring outdoors, which helps her relax and build confidence.

She participated in a dog test but was hesitant to enter the yard and showed some stress around other dogs, panting, tail down, and ears back. She also displayed some barrier reactivity to humans in the shelter kennel setting. This behavior appears fear-based, and she can be startled easily by sounds or sudden movements. In her kennel, she may bark defensively, growl, or avoid interaction until she feels safe.

Crane Operator is healthy, and a full medical summary is available upon request.

Please let us know if your organization can help!

Thank you,
