*** Laverne was previously thought to be bonded with hound mix Shirley. After further evaluation at the shelter, we have determined that the two girls are not truly bonded. They did very well with separate dog tests. 

 

Laverne & male Cane Corso mix

Laverne did very well with a male dog. She was not a fan of him being in her face but did nothing more than move her head away. She is much more interested in getting attention from people. 

 

Laverne & female bully mix

Laverne did very well with a female dog.  She remained neutral for the duration of the test. Again, she much prefers human cuddles.
