For 44 days now Barbecue has been at our shelter patiently waiting for a second chance at life. There has not been a SINGLE phone call even asking questions about him. Our facility is completely full right now and he has reached the end of the 45 days in which we are allowed to hold animals. Barbecue must have commitment and be picked up from the shelter by 12pm on Monday 3/2/26. This sweet heart is full of energy and happiness. His favorite part about life is carrying around his bowl or a large toy kind of like a baby does a pacifier. He has put on a good amount of weight since arriving here to our facility. Barbecue is unfortunately heartworm positive. He has been on Doxycycline twice a day since 2/12/26. That medication needs to be continued to completion on 3/11/26. This guy did great on his dog test with another male. He would do best in a home without cats. He ADORES people especially if enticed with treats. Please if you have the ability to please consider helping this sweetheart. He has become a staff favorite and we so desperately want to see him succeed. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions about him.**$10 RABIES FEE** BARBECUE CAME AS STRAY 1/15/26. AVAILABLE...more"43830- BARBECUE", Male, 1Yrs 1 Months red Pitt-X Dog 182178--
