View this email in your browser  Hunter Needs Rescue 10 Years, 52lbs Meet Hunter, a gentle 10-year-old  Pittie in need of rescue. Surrendered into our care through no fault of his own, his previous family describes him as a quiet, friendly old soul who is always happy to greet everyone he meets. Truly the total package, Hunter has a positive history with other dogs, children of all ages, and even cats. He is also housebroken and non-destructive when left unattended. Since arriving, Hunter has proven to be exactly as described—friendly, social and easygoing. He received a full veterinary exam that uncovered some medical concerns we are currently addressing. His bloodwork showed elevated liver enzymes and hypothyroidism, and he has a history of skin allergies. These are all being managed with medication and a prescription diet. He also has a UTI, which is under treatment. Despite these challenges, Hunter’s spirit shines through. We are hopeful that a dedicated rescue can step forward to support this sweet senior as he continues his journey. If your rescue is able to help, please reach out.
