Jorah came to BARCS as a stray on 6/28 and is now looking for a rescue partner to help him find his fresh start.
According to the finder, Jorah was reactive toward cats but did well around children in the home. They described him as a sweet dog who enjoyed interacting with people and was comfortable around their kids.
On intake, Jorah was noted to have a scabbed wound on the left side of his neck with some surrounding hair clumping, but otherwise appears healthy. He has been bright, friendly, and easy to care for while in the shelter.
Jorah would benefit from a rescue placement where he can continue to be assessed, receive any needed follow-up care for his wound, and begin his journey toward a permanent home. His sweet nature and reported comfort around children make him a promising candidate for the right rescue partner.
Full medical summary can be provided upon request.
