Health: No obvious issues besides some old scars and an obvious floating rib on the left side.
Bio: Addie is part of the same trio of hound mixes who arrived as strays after being quietly cared for by a kind neighborhood. While no one officially came to claim them, it’s clear these dogs were known and looked after and now Addie is ready for a fresh start of her own. She appears to be a Tree Walker mix, and this sweet girl carries pieces of her past with her. With a half tail and old scratches and scars along her back end and thighs, Addie has clearly been through some tough times. But despite it all, her spirit remains incredibly gentle and loving. Addie is truly a sweetheart. She craves kindness, soaks up attention, and seems so grateful for every soft word and gentle touch. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to feel safe and loved. With a patient and caring home, Addie will be able to leave her past behind and finally enjoy the life she deserves.
Other Dogs: Tests well with other dogs. Video available to our rescue partners by request.
Cats: Non-reactive. We recommend using caution until everyone shows they can be trusted.
Children: We do not have kids to test with. We always recommend supervising children around dogs/puppies. Sometimes our dogs/puppies are active and might be too big for small children, and sometimes the children can be too rough around dogs.
Leash: She walks well on a leash.
